Last summer vacation, I went to the countryside with my friend Mike. We stayed at Mike's grandparents' house. The village was small but beautiful. Every morning, we woke up early and helped feed the chickens. After breakfast, we went to the river to catch fish. The water was clear and cool. In the afternoon, we climbed the hills behind the village. From the top, we could see the whole village. It looked like a picture. At night, we sat in the yard and watched the stars. The sky was so clear that we could see thousands of stars. Mike's grandma told us interesting stories. We laughed and ate watermelon. I will never forget this wonderful trip. It taught me that simple life can be the happiest.
